Who we are and how we got here 

Woloshin Communications is a scrappy and nimble agency dedicated to helping individuals and organizations. We offer smart solutions, strategies and communications to help you reach your goals, with special expertise in making the confusing Medicare and healthcare marketplace and retirement easier to navigate.

The company was formed in 1991 by Mara Woloshin, a member of the National Speakers Association who in 2006 was tapped to serve as spokesperson for the Federal rollout of Medicare Part D (which covers prescription drugs) in both Oregon and Washington.

That experience provided Mara special insight into the complex and constantly changing Medicare system. Beneficiaries need clear and accurate answers. She is also a Certified Retirement Coach. 

Advocating for individuals and communicating about Medicare and retirement in a way that is clear and understandable has been the foundation of what Mara and Woloshin Communications provides. It’s an approach that requires using our hearts as well as our heads.
